A tour of the editor
The page in the middle, tools on the left and settings for whatever you click.
The three areas
- 1The middle is your page, exactly as visitors will see it.
- 2The left rail has the tools: Widgets, Navigator, Pages, Design and History.
- 3When you click anything on the page, its settings open in the panel beside it.
Selecting things
- 1Click any widget, column or section on the page to select it. It gets a purple outline.
- 2The breadcrumb at the top of the settings shows where it sits, for example Home › Row › Contact form. Click a step to select the container around it.
- 3Open Navigator to see the whole page as a tree and pick anything from there, even items that are hard to click.
Settings tabs
Most items have Layout, Style and Advanced tabs. Layout is for content and arrangement, Style for colours, fonts and backgrounds, Advanced for spacing and extras.
Preview sizes
Use the device buttons in the top bar to check your page on a desktop, tablet and phone. The page is built to work on all three.
Tip: Made a mistake? Press ⌘Z (Ctrl+Z on Windows) to undo and ⌘⇧Z to redo. History keeps earlier versions you can go back to.
